Piston pump (pistonpump) is an important working part of hydraulic and pneumatic transmission, belongs to the positive displacement pump, reciprocating pump.

Hydraulic piston pumps rely on air pressure to supply oil to the hydraulic oil tank. Most pressure supply type hydraulic pumps use an oil tank with air pressure, and some hydraulic pumps themselves have oil replenishment sub-pumps to provide pressure oil to the hydraulic pump inlet. Self-priming hydraulic pumps have a strong self-priming ability and do not require external force to supply oil.
