It utilizes diamond-impregnated beads threaded on a high-strength steel cable to execute precise primary cuts and block extraction in granite quarries, replacing traditional blasting methods.

Working Principle

The diamond wire saw works based on the principle of abrasion. The diamond - embedded wire is driven by a motor to move at a high speed. When the wire comes into contact with the material to be cut, the hard diamond particles on the wire abrade the surface of the material, gradually cutting through it. The cutting process can be either in a reciprocating motion or a continuous loop motion, depending on the design of the wire saw.
