Product Description

A pneumatic regulating valve is a valve that uses compressed air as a power source to achieve automatic control. It consists of an actuator and a regulating mechanism. The actuator is the thrust component of the regulating valve, which generates corresponding thrust according to the size of the control signal pressure and drives the regulating mechanism to act. The valve body is the regulating component of the pneumatic regulating valve, which directly contacts the regulating medium and regulates the flow rate of the fluid.

Application

Pneumatic regulating valves are widely used in industries such as natural gas, oil, chemical, metallurgy, paper-making, electricity, mining, printing and dyeing, biopharmaceuticals, daily chemicals, food and beverage, water treatment, and air handling for fluid automatic control or regulation. They are commonly used in conjunction with automated pneumatic instruments.

Working principle

1. In the closed position, the ball is pressed against the valve seat by the mechanical pressure of the valve stem.
2. When the hand wheel is turned counterclockwise, the valve stem moves in the opposite direction, and the angular plane at the bottom makes the ball disengage from the valve seat.
3. The valve stem continues to lift and interacts with the guide pin in the helical groove of the valve stem, causing the ball to start rotating without friction.
4. Until it reaches the fully open position, the valve stem is raised to the limit position, and the ball rotates to the fully open position.
