Stainless Embossing Roll for Printing
The imitation of relief-type structures is achieved by embossing. The material must be heated beforehand so that the starting material adopts a new three-dimensional pattern which is retained on cooling. In the production of large-area, multi-layered plastic textiles, tarpaulins and coverings such as B. imitation leather or floor coverings, heating is used in various places. Often, the desired surface structure (e.g. the texture of artificial leather) is created in the final process step by heating the surface and then embossing it with engraving roller. Precise temperature control is required to ensure a uniform pattern over the entire width of the process.
